? about overload springs......

i hear of alot of guys with the regular ram 1500's adding the 2 inch drop shakles and removing the overload spring for about another inch of drop....making the rear almost level with the front...is this possible with the srt 10 ram??:dontknow:

Do you not like the lowering blocks?
 
i know nothing bout lowering and to what it takes...but i thought lowering blocks were for regular cabs..i have a QC...if i am wrong plz inform me....i got the shackles from stinker and was just seeing if the overload springs would be an option....

Yes, the lowering shackles work on the QC. The shackles alone will lower you approx. 1 1/2 inches. Check with Stinker, I think he's got something cooking and I don't think it's opossum.
 
Yeah Big B, you can take the overload spring out and it should lower it a tad more, how much? not sure

but the towing capacity will be gone, unless ya get a set of the tow air bags that are out there, I think I can gt them too if ya need.

hey stinker thanks for postin i think i will take the overload springs out when i install the shackles saturday....no towing will be needed, got an old ford for that...thx for the replies guys....
