ac delete

so apparently i can buy a belt from a 360, and put it on my 8.0 and it will delete the ac and smog pump while usin the v10 tensioner. what i wanna know is if i take the pump off (for now) would the in fan cab still blow without the pump? i dont wanna sit and bake in the damn thing over the summer..

not sure if it'll work on the 8.3, i know for a fact that the 8.0 belt is 114 inches tho.
