Just took the truck on an errand, 30 min after parking it. When i parked it the vents blew air. Now, nothing. The Recirculation and AC button cycle the light on and off when i press the buttons, so i know the control unit has power. But no blower sound.

My 05 done this randomly. Rare but random. I cut the truck off and on thinking it may be the delay timer that pauses the blower until the truck cranks. No change. WTF! HVAC fuse on the 06 controls a few other things it looked like, but i didnt have a fuse blown.

Anyone else have this issue, what did you do to fix it?

Prolly just happened to stop on a bad spot in the motor windings. Tap on the blower box or open it and tap on the motor and it should fire up.;)

That was it. Popped the hood to check again and when I slammed it the blower started. So dead spot in blower motor. Will be replacing this weekend.

Nah Jeff, I'd let it be until it goes! I've seen many last a long, long time after doing this.;)

I agree with Venemous1 my old car did that once too and i said i was gonna replace it and i just kept puttin it off and puttin it off. Sold the car about a year later and it was still working fine :D
