decided to tint the tail lights . tinted with two coats then wet sanded with 600 and cleared, my wife really likes it says it looks evil:fing02:
I think I might sand it again and add another coat of clear, but Ill give it a few days

I just had my head lights tinted .They didnt spray them they put actual tint . i thinks its called laminex ,maybe? .I was gonna do the tail lights next . Is there a spray with a more glossy finish ? Or do you just sand them and clearcoat a couple times ?

I dont know , but my spray definitely did not give a glossy finish. but that might have been becuase it wasnt very warm yesterday

Try wet sanding with 1000 then 1500, and last 2000 grit. In between the wet sanding use a red Powerball and some 3M liquid rubbing compound and those lights will have glass like reflection.
