I am thinking about building a factory five daytona coupe. Anybody out there ever take one on?

Check out the Fctory Five Forum's. You can also check out http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/index.php

There is a lot of work to one of those kits together. I opted to buy a roller instead and got a Superformance. I figured if there was to much work involved I might start to loose interest! LOL.

Good luck and have fun.

What do you think of the superformance? I was looking at their Daytona. It seems a lot of dough.

I have a Superformance with a 460 big block and love it. Superformance is the only replica that is authorized and licensed by Shelby.

I spent years researching these cars before I bought one. Personally I would never buy a used Kit Car that was assemblied by someone else, unless I knew the person and could be assured that they did not cut corners. Don't want to be cruising down the highway and have a major component fail because they used grade 3 bolts in place of grade 8, just because they were cheaper.

You might want to take a look at this site so you can see how the cars compare looks wise side be side.

Damn, just remembered you are looking at the Daytona coupe. I was thinking Cobra. Sorry.
