Hey guys. I own a Hemi Ram and have been lurking around here for a while. I think that I'm finally ready to take the plunge and buy a 10. I'm just wondering if there are any things that I should be on the lookout for when shopping? It will be my daily driver so I know that I want something that is mostly unmodified. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check out the trucks here on the site...we know the background of most of them and can assist you.

I'm in Houston and I'm undecided on if I want a QC or RC. I love the looks of the RC but I just don't know if I want to deal with driving a stick in Houston traffic. I'm going to look at an 06 RC this weekend.

If you need room to haul momma and/or the kiddies, QC. RC if you don't have a lot of stuff to haul. For the most part the trucks are very relaible for a DD. I drive mine everyday in rush hour traffic and I learned to pace myself several car lengths back from the vehicle in front of me and slip along in 1st or 2nd gear -- saves the left leg muscles.

Do a search on the site and you'll find what the common problems are with these vehicles. Whatever you end up looking at or buying, make sure you do your home work when buying used. When I was seraching for my 10, I found some pretty scary stuff being offered up. Check to see if the truck is a certified Chrysler used vehicle. I would also check the carfax report and if possible run the VIN past your local Dodge dealer and try and obtain past service history. Also, ask your dealer if the vehicle your interested in was a local trade or something they picked up at auction. If your intersted in the vehicle, you may want to have a 3rd party inspect it for previous collision damages and mechanical faults (fluid leaks, worn out parts, etc.).

I hope this helps and good luck.

I thought we did.

Driving a stick in Houston traffic isn't that bad. I guess I don't pay attention since I enjoy driving my truck.

Once you find a truck you like, post up in here. And I'm sure you'll find a member here that would be willing to drive and check it out for you. I know I did, acually, they found me.:D
