advice on future purchase

We all share your excitement!! Either one should easily pull your Skeeter.

Before you park it at the boat ramp or marina though, look at what my buddy's truck looked like after he parked at our marina to go boating with us. You can still see the tail light of the vehicle that hit him. Of course, nobody saw or heard anything. At least it was a work truck!

That is always a problem at boat ramps.

When I was in college, for cheap entertainment we would grab a 6 pack (or two:eek: ) and spend Sunday afternoons at the boat ramp watching people trying to load their boats. Talk about funny shit.:p

What i always get is "what the hell do you need that for". My opinion is you only live once so enjoy it.

Ask them if they really need a big screen tv or an x box. Hell what you need is very little. But we are talking about what you want.

If you test drive a QC it will feel sluggish compared to the RC. A must have mod is the stage 2 flash. They add 80 RWHP and 100 TRQ to the lower RPM band. Good luck in your choice.

I would recommend an 05 RC.There are some fantastic deals to be had on them. But,if you like the looks of the 06 (I don't personally),then there are good deals to be had on them also.I have another truck for towing and hauling,so the RC is the only choice for me.

Storage and family isseus are obviously going to make the decision for ya.

If you are going to need the family to ride in it fairly often, your only choice is the quad. But if you like to shift like I do, the only choice is the RC.

You can't do both if you have more than 1 young'un.......The center console does flip up into a small seat.

Good luck bro and welcome to the forum....

I too had this dillemma just over a year ago.. and couldn't come to grips with the grocery getting slug-o-matic.... I drove the hell outa my RC to the point that it needed new brakes/tires/clutch hell I think the engine was startin to go too lol...I got it outa my system... I love my new QC and haven't regretted trading the RC... of course they both have advantages, the RC was definitely more fun but it was putting out 60 more rwhp (due to some mods)

There is no right or wrong answer.....its what serves your needs. Me, I had an 03 hemi QC.....well I just had to have the 04 RC when they came out......have not looked back since!!! I just love the shifting part and how it feels like a muscle car...

Let us see the pics when you make your choice.
