Anyone have any feedback on the AEM water/meth kit? I was comparing it to the Snow kit. It looks like the AEM has a larger tank with a low level switch where the Snow kit doesn't but the Snow kit has dual injectors? Would the dual injectors make the Snow kit better?

I can't use my windshield washer tank as the tank for the kit as I work in a construction zone and use the windshield washer daily to rinse all the dust off.

Thanks again for your input!! Trying to get all this stuff ironed out before the engine comes back ;) (if it ever does).

Honestly, I would keep using the windshield washer tank, you have a built in low warning light already. Not a huge difference from a mixed meth/water combo and straight up windshield washer fluid. You will just have to fill more often than the rest of us, but you will either way with 1 tank or 2.

Use the Snow kit and your stock windsheild washer tank. Thats what I did. The newer Snow kits come with a high output put (220 psi) better atomization.

I concur with Dave. I would use the windshield washer reservoir to be sure you have the low level indicator in your dash display...the water meth mixture is identical to -30 degree windshield washer fluid...

You don't have to use that boost juice or stuff made just for the system? The windshield washer fluid works just as well? I thought I read somewhere that the windshield washer fluid was not as good or that it clogs up the injection nozzle?

I have used low temperature windshield washer fluid since September of 2006. It was recommended by Sean Roe, and have had no problems.

I have a five gallon can of Methanol, that has never been opened...

You can use blue washerfluid, rated below -30 degrees as Roy mentioned above. Personally, I would just use the boost juice. It is perfectly fine as washer fluid.

How do you tap into the washer tank? Self sealing tank tap from Devilsown?

I think you are making this too complicated...water/meth is a very low tech approach that is very effective.

Drill a hole in the neck of the windshield washer fluid container...insert the tube all the way to the bottom of the tank. Be sure to not let the plastic shavings drop into the tank. The hose will not move if your length is correct.
