After much use of search button, Front or rear sets of cats?

If I had the opportunity to get only one set of cats cut off, should I have the front ones lopped off, or the rears. From reading countless posts on cat removal, everyone has a different opinion. From what I see when I crawl under the truck, the rear cats look bigger. But losing which set would give us more of a power gain?

Sticker has an 04 and he said the front ones on his were the stainless mesh (restrictive ones), My 05 which I gutted had the stainless mesh in the back, and my spare mids (w/cats) have the stainless in the back, they are also off an 05. The stainless mesh will be the bigger ones...which is what you want to have cut off. So if your rears are bigger, then those are the puppies to cut! They should be about 3.5" in length from weld to weld on the acually round canister.

Yeah the rears are longer, the fronts are a lil more stubby. I was thinking if only one set could get cut, I would lose the rears. Hopefully they will do all 4, that would b freakin awsome.

Any difference in the 3" mids vs the gutted/ removed cats with stock midpiping?
