Aftermarket Subwoofer in factory box ?

I want to put aftermarket Subwoofer in factory box using Amp 77KICK18AB
That can be installed with minimal modifications
Have experience?

PS Replacing the amplifier was very difficult, so who came up with it to mount? It's awful inconvenient :alberteinstein:

I'm looking at doing he same. I have a set of 3-way Mb Quart components (older....when they were still awsome ) and an image dynamics 10" subwoofer. I havn't decided on an amp yet.

I put a JL Audio 10" sub in my factory box. That POS Kicker amp will not push a decent 10" woofer. Get a good amp.

No decent subwoofer will work with the factory amp. It just plain sucks and cant push a decent sub.

i put a orion dual voice coil 10 in mine with stock amp sounds good but im a old fart

I put in a eclips double din with 2 diamond audio an 2 twitted in the dash and 2 6/9 in the front door and the dace doors are 2 6x9 and 2 diamond amps I rewired the hole audio set up the sestem that comes in the truck sucks.
