sometimes when you go in for service they steal the airbag......

I've had the same problem with both the RC & QC. They also had a clicking sound when turning, then the cruse & stereo controls went out. (& horn in the RC)

My guy at the dealer told me that they had a lot the '02-'05 trucks come in with the same problem, It was a defective "clock spring".

I replaced the one in the QC & no more problem. The RC's gettin it before the TX GTG.

Oh, PT# 56049795AE (under $100), I would suggest unplugging the airbag untill you can get it, a short could cause it to go off. (2 bolts + 2 plugs = easy protection)

have you done any work on it lately (like install speakers or something where you had to pull panels down?) i had the same problem with my son's truck,it was a wire going to ground. i had pinched a side airbag wire when i put the paneling back.
