I installed an AEM Air:Fuel gauge. It is reading as erradict as heck. Is that normal? At idle is reading anywhere from 14.2 - 15.2. Under acceleration is bounces all over the place.

Engine trouble? Installed wrong? Normal?

Thanks.

14.2-15.2 is normal...don't worry about idle number, worry about WOT a/f.

Sampling rates will fluctuate too much at idle and decel.

Under acceleration? Do you mean part throttle or WOT? At WOT it should be steady.

Thanks for the reply. What is an ideal number?
lambda .. 14.7:1

Gauge should read (in a perfect world) 14.7 cruising / Idle / Part throttle, but will fluctuate. Computer will aim for the target 14.7 though...

depending on mods (na) 11''s (rich stock) ..Ive seen 12's...

F/I - 11's
