Air Leak

Hello all i wanted to see if anyone has had a problem with a very anoying high speed air leak starts @105-150mph, the dealer replaced the front window, i adjuted the doors & still nothing it sounds like its coming from up front, but? It didnt leak for alomst 4000 miles then started after passing a oncoming semi about 140 hasnt been the same since any help would be great.

Are the seals around your door opening dry rotted? There is a parts bulletin on them.

Well the truck is new always in the garage but ill take a close look @ them and see.

Its a little more than regular wind noise more like a very high pitched wind noise very annoying.

i usually skip the 100-150 and go straight to the 155 up club.no wind noise there.

Next time you hear the noise make sure the the A/C is set to fresh air and not recirc. I think that is what you are hearing.

i have the same noise from the passenger door at those speeds every now and then. the dealer tells me they cant do anything about it cause they wont drive the truck that fast. at wide open throttle the computer turns off the a/c compressor.

But thats funny about the dealer not wanting to drive that fast, ive had are local service manager in the passenger seat with a rubber hose trying to fing the leak from 100-150 its funny to see him over there trying to help looking over now & then @ the spedo thanks again.

Only if you have a flash. Stock PCM will not turn it off.

my servic emanager started to sh*t at about 105 and said the only way he would get back in my truck is if he is driving it.

such a pu**y
