i am less than a month from getting my red qc 05..
i just found out that 2 dodge ram 1500's have been stolen from me neighborhood in the last 3 weeks. cops say they have a small idea but it is going to be a while before that bust it up, they know someone is "ordering" them and a alarm will help but wont stop them, should i drill anchors in my driveway and chain the truck down??
what really works, other than a garage...that's not a option.
thanks
dave

Truthfully, if they want it bad enough it's gone no matter what you do. You can have alarms out the ass and it won't matter. The real pro's will know how to disarm it. Kill switches? They can tow it off.

I know, not much help. Sorry.

i am going to put in another motion light and a fake camera pointed at the truck, the one with the led light so it looks like it is on..if after all that they want it they can have it, but they better get out of the area before i can load my gun..

We got a 3 camera system from Sams for about $100 about a year ago. Had some kids egg one of our cars and with the video tape they were caught the next morning. Best $100 I ever spent.

Sit out in your front yard in a lawn chair wearing nothing but tightey whiteys, suspenders, one of those hats with the propeller on top, and water wings. Mumble to yourself constantly while cleaning a large shotgun. I guarantee no one will come close to your house:viking:

Do you have this? When Sean programmed my VecII I did not ask for this option...sounds really good! And another trip to see Amy at Roe would be easy to make.

Whatever you do, don't point a gun at someone stealing your truck. You'll goto jail WITH them.

LoJack?

One word get a Lojack tracking device, all my trucks have one, along with viper alarms. Then let it be known that when the cops are through with them the varmit hunter will have his day!:dontknow:

it is all in the wording..if they make a threat to kill or harm me and reach in their waist band or jacket pocket i will just be defending myself..dont worry i have had my cwp for many years and am responsiable but will also not put up with any crap, i would not ever shoot anyone over property but would defend my self as needed..

and i would love info on wiring up a kill switch..

hmmm just reading this posts on the fuel pump cut off switch .. that would be simple .. juts go to the fuel pump .. cut on of the wires going into or out of the fuel pump.. make sure its the power suply end... run a wire into the cab somewhere well hidden and easy for you to access put it on a switch and then back to the pump.. no one will drive your baby away with that and a low cost max 5 bux.. and shes not goin anywhere...

Yes, you can have Dave send you the NoStart Card
They also have a Vallet card ( @ 2500 rpm limit) so the vallet boys don't pull a stunt.:D

"I was in fear for my life officer"...thats all u need to say. IN FLORIDA
True. Very true.

I was going to wire a Fuel pump kill switch and hide it somewhere, but then I found out my car can't be stolen with out a tow truck or a key.
I still got a lojack just in case (plus my insurance is supercrazy low)

If they have to steal from me the only thing they have of value is thier life, at that time they look like a master pad lock and I have the Wheatherby to prove it. You toucha my truck and you will suffer.

There in Florida it couldn't hurt to have a "Support Your Local Outlaws" sticker on it LOL. Sure works for keeping the bikes from getting snagged.
