about 3 months ago i hit a gnarly crevas out in the desert and it messed up pretty much everything in the front end, i have replaced the Tie rods, upper and lower ball joints. got it aligned and it zeros out except for the camber (solid axle) the camber is 0ff .7 on both sides in order to correct it, i have to change out the upper ball joints....

long story short, truck wanders and pulls to the left at 35+....is camber off enough to cause it?:dontknow:

Whats the condition of your tires?

2 months, 3k miles, no unussual wear
Chrysler has a TSB for your truck but it only pertains to a shimmy after hitting a pothole, I dont know much about alignments, I dont do them hardly ever. But I dont see how changing a balljoint out would change the camber:dontknow:

camber will affect the pulling issue, but caster affects it more.

get the caster adn camber adjsuted and it should take care of your issues

i can adjust caster on the truck and zeroed to spec, camber requires parts, i just want to double check everything and see if i missed something, because its VERY difficult to replace the upper ball joints with the lowers in place

ok , now this is an old goofy alignment trick , but its worth a try, when you sit in the truck it actually exagerates the camber, so instead of .7 off , it is probablly more like .10 or more off.

take the torsion bar and crank it up a turn or two and raise the drivers side up about a half inch to an inch, that will bring the top of the tire inwards decreasing the camber.

this is not permenant, but willl give you an idea of if the camber is the true problem or not

o sry bro had a brain fart.....its a solid axle, no torsion bars, ball jionts are the ONLy way to do camber....and there 120 each(x2)

i'll post a pic in a little

those in the link you posted?

actually you can shim the axle, a good alignment shop can anyway, there are shims used to set behind the mount, to camber in or out the front tire
