Mine rides pretty stiff but it makes the handling nice. I left the overloads in case I want to pull my boat or motorcycle trailer with it. It's a tow package after all, guess if you don't ever plan on towing anything heavy won't matter.
I have mixed feelings about the drop.....everyone does it. Sometimes I like the ass up and sometimes I look at it and think hmmm, might just lower that. The downward wedge profile probably makes some sense aerodynamically at high speed, but I don't know if it's enough to matter. I know my truck squats quite a bit at 140. Don't know how the lowered ones do. Just my absolutely worthless 2 cents.
I would lower the truck, work on the cosmetic appearance you are going for (ie Viper grill badge, remove all Dodge & Ram emblems, add tint to front windows, etc) then start the modding process.
I would definitely at least throw on Stinker's lowering shackles. It's up to you if you want to get rid of the overload springs. I left mine in, but I'm tempted to pull 'em out every time I look at it and wonder how I could get it just a bit lower.
I would also get rid of the Night Runner decals. They just take away from the naturally sinister look of the truck. Some window tint would make it look better also.
Either way, you got a great looking truck. Can't wait to see it with the blue accents. Not too many guys add blue to black. Should end up pretty cool.
