Hey Everyone. I am starting to get a few responses to my posts so I thought it may be a good time to formally introduce myself. I just kind of started posting a few months ago & never posted about being a newbie.

Just to give a little history on myself. I am one of the Original Viper Club of America Members from back in 1997 when the internet first really got popular. I think me login is the same Robwclark or maybe it was Firchiken, (havent logged on there in years),but I have a long history with Vipers & the VCA. My first Viper car was a 95 RT/10 back in 1997. I was like 20 years old. The first thing I did was cut the mufflers & cats off, & stick a pair of K&N cone filters on the front with home-made smooth tubes and take it to the track. I remember being amazed at how rough the factory cam was with no mufflers.

My first experience with a Viper truck was John Hennesseys personal 1994 Dodge Ram 2500(Yes I think this qualifies as a Viper truck). I bought it straight from him, and then sold it back to him(Long & messy story). It was a reg cab long bed 2WD with a 1995 Viper V10 he installed. It had long tubes headers & borla exhaust & everything. He used it to pull his racecar trailer to tracks & events. I used it to get to work :) I loved that truck and man it ran every bit as good as a stock 04-06 Viper truck. It was bright red with white stripes down it. I bought it with 140k miles for $12,000 from John himself. I had to sell it back to Hennessey after a couple of years because he was never able to provide me a title to it. Again long dumb story.

I have been modifiying vehicles since before I could drive, and consider myself fairly well educated. My kids are getting bigger now , and I have had a huge job changethis year(I now work a lot less, but I make a lot less $$$ too), so I have found myself getting back into the mix lately. I will certainly do my best to provide help to any and all members on here. I always want to help anyone in need. I will certainly keep posting and try to make as much of a positive influence on this board as possible. If I can ever be of service to anyone, just call me up. My number is (817)992-8068. Cyall later.

Being a military guy from a very special fraternity of brothers...this is the best part of our welcome aboard!!!:D:D:D

We will let the "New Guy" stand up to tell us about himself/herself and half way through their Intro....WE TELL THEM TO SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!;)
(While it sounds harsh, it's actually a protective measure....we don't know if he/she will make it and it's easier to maintain some distance until they prove their "salt".)

I think you have proven your "salt"!:)

And forget what I said about that girl from Cleburne...it was a lie...

By the way...did your Mother go to TCU? I'm a little worried, Cleburne is a very small town.

Welcome to the best Trucking site on the net Rob.

Part of the settlement(yes I said settlement) was that I not speak about this again on the net. There were lawyers involved and everything. But hey, that was over 10 years ago.

His first wife's father owned a Dodge dealership there in Houston. The truck was on an MSO(manufacturers state origin) and never actually sold new. He basically took it off the lot as a demo, but never titled it. I paid him cash for the truck expecting a title shortly. Well it took two years. I finally started slamming him on the VCA Forum, and he finally offered to buy the truck back. I drove it to 160k miles, and he offered me $8000 back. After all the trouble, I took the $$$ and ran. He flew Up to the DFW Int'l Airport, and I met him there with the truck. He gave me a cashiers check, got in the truck and took off. Handled it all himself.

I can say this for him. He never really ignored my calls too bad. He just kept saying it's coming, it's coming.

There ya go, thats exactly what happened
