Almost Murdered

I had my wheels blacked out but I had the inner part of each wheel done in viper red. The pictures dont do it justice. It looks must better up close.

Almost murdered is a good description, anything red other than the oem calipers takes it out of murdered category. However your truck looks badass. Totm quality.

Nope....painted em. The reason is that I was not sure that I would like em. There is a powder coating company here in Indy that will do the 2 color job for about a buck fifty a wheel. I will probably go that direction later. I got these done by a customer of mine for free so I couldnt pass it up.

Im the same way, I want to try black chrome, but not sure if I will like it. Im worried about painting with the mounting of tires and tire rotations. I got a quote of $110/wheel here for powder coating. A lot of hidden fees though by the time you take the tires off, put them back on, etc.

I had my wheels painted while they were dismounted. I stressed to the guys mounting the New tires to be VERY CAREFUL while mounting. They did a great job and didn't make a mark! The guy who did my wheels put on 6 coats of clear to ensure durability.

No problems on the mounting and dismounting. I had the guys be extra careful and they did a great job mounting them on the painted rims. There shouldnt be any problems if the techs are good and their tire machine is a good one.
