Almost ready for nitrous, any last minute mods?

Ok, how about this scenario? Using a NOX system somehow to accelerate the cooling process of the intake? Maybe use something as low as a 50 shot? I really know nothing about doing this so I hope someone has some answers. Thanks!

If you do it properly the nitrous is fairly safe.
What kit are you running? My friend just took a nitrous express kit off his srt8 after a year of use and it was safe. I was told anything under 150 on a WET shot is safe for our stock engines. I was thinking of buying his then getting in contact with Justin to see what I need for it to work on this truck.

The budget for my next mod is $5k.

you could do a nasty set of HEad/Cam combo for that...be around 540/600 rear wheel...safely...take the correct precautions when spraying...ive made that mistake

justin is the one that built my truck he is very sharp with n2o oh and i think he has the fastest n20 only truck on the forum...and i believe it is also bone stock...justin is definately th guy you wanna talk with

Where would you suggest I look for a really nasty head/cam combo?

best head cam set up is striker heads, and a custom cam , they usually run around $700 or so maybe less since I got the engine guy, whom has tons of connections

is that 700 hundred for the cam or are you getting one hell of a deal:dontknow:

I've been running a 150 shot for awhile now haven't had any issues. (KNOCK ON WOOD) Use a window switch to control the spray & swap to colder plugs and you should be alright.:driver:
