Almost traded the Maggie

On a GCSRT8............

Well first impressions, its a 6.1 so it's fast, but it handled like a boat. I told the guy to get the tires checked because it was looooooooooose! The Maggie or the truck felt stiffer. So we told the guy, get the payments at or below 800 and we'll do it. We need alittle bigger car with the addition, I cant drive with a car seat behind me in the Msrt.

He comes back and says 72 mo at 1500 a month..... no thank you. I keep trying to tell him that the deal needs to be sweet becuace i already own a 8 with out the awd! I still don't think he got that bc he kept tryin to tell me it's features and how to drive in autostick.

After the back and fourth for a hour, we get 875 Mo for 84 mo's! This on a GC without nav without dual climate, without sunroof and without seat memory. So my wife said she couldn't down grade and we walked.

I'll just have to move my seat forward for the Lil Regan Laura Eichenberg

Y'all are the fourth to be told the name!

Got home and I'll be damned if my Maggie doesnt look cooler than the GC. Much more rodded out looking, specially with the tire combo i've got. Kind of hammered looking.

Why were you talking payment with a dealer? You should always negotiate the price not the payment. There's lots of lenders that will give the best rate and term for you credit. A dealer wants to make back money off of doing loans. So they don't always offer the best rate and term. Try to get approved online through the lending companies. (eloan, peoples bank, etc. They will send you a check. Then go to the dealer and buy the car with that check. Soon as you sign over the check your loan starts.

Its a tough read but i'm sure half will figure it out and half simply won't care.

Moral is the GC-grand Cheeroke handles poorly.

I like the looks of the Maggie a ton better than the GC.

To me, the GC looks like a suit and tie vehicle. I don't roll like that! The Maggie, even though it's a wagon, looks much beefier!!

I think you made the right decision! What was the sticker price on the GC?!
