Week two with the truck and I got pulled over today. The funny thing is the cop wasnt even from my town and pulled me over for a BS reason. He said that he couldnt see my paper plate in the window and that it should be on the plate holder. He asked for Lic and insurance, the insurance card is for my old truck since I havent been sent the revised copy. He asked to see the paperwork that I filled out when I bought the truck. I told him I didnt have this and had left it at the dealer. SO he then says well not that im implying this buy how do I know you didnt steal this truck off of a lot somewhere. Now Im dressed in business attire had just picked up my sister in law from the airport. I have an infant seat in the back which he can see so. I asked him if he was going to give me a ticket for anything. He replied no and said that I needed to move the plate. So I asked for my stuff back and drove off. Now Im not one to dislike law enforcement but I didnt like what I was seeing. I also thought I remember and issue with putting paper plates outside the vehicle, something about theft. I had the insurance company fax over the info and will carry around the fat payment stub that I have already made incase he decides to do it again.

Havent gotten pulled over in the truck yet.. in the Plumbing van 2 times now going 90 mph both times. Both were after my grandmother gave me a "good luck charm" to put on my sunvisor, shes a jynx.

 Sad use of tax dollars. Congrats on the new truck though:D :D :D

I've been pulled over like 5 times in the truck... sometimes I feel like its an envy thing, like the ticket for window tint, but sometimes it seems like they wanted to check the truck out.

Sucks man Wilco or Travis ?
I waited for them to pull me over with the paper plate on my back window ,cuss them damn thigs wouldn't last 30 days if it rained and you are correct it's just walk by and rip off the plate from the rear . Needless to say it took the full 30 days to get my plates and never got pulled over once.
Have A Kind Day
Mike

Quick
Oh yea, we do. Police, Sheriffs, Deputy Sherrifs, Constables, Game Wardens, Park Rangers, and if that's not enough - Texas Rangers. Did I forget anyone?

Yeah, thats not even a good joke... we have (well, I guess I'm not living there anymore but still) Texas has soooo many law officials... and the worst are the bored small town cops... I got pulled over at a little spot in the road next to a town called Gay Hill, Texas.... That guy was a dickhead in the worst way. But there are good ones, and bad ones, same as anything.
