Alternator Chrome or Powder Coat?

Has anyone found a chrome alternator, or had any experience having one plated or powder coated? Thanks.

i had my altenator powdercoated,took it to a altenator shop and he disassembled/assembled it for me and he even touched up the inside with some black caliper paint i brought him (for a small fee of course). if you know what your doing i assume you could do it yourself... i was afraid i might have some parts leftover after the assembly
