Aluminum rods fatigue, i.e. they cannot be made for an infinite life, even at only moderate loads. For racing they are great (lighter, less rotating mass), as long as you are planning on tearing down your motor and replacing them every 100-200 hours or so.

Just use titainium, stronger than steel, and 40% lighter:rock: :rock:
Aluminum rods are great for drag racing engines. You will not find them used anywhere else.

Just get a good set of forged steel rods.
I'm always amazed at how people want more HP, when the current setup on these trucks does not allow you to put the existing power to the ground. Work the traction issues first. Then go for more power.
