Am I Stupid??

When I bought my Mopar performance exhaust I told the dealer the keep the old stock exhaust because at the time I didn't have room for it in my garage. Was just wondering if there was any market for the stock exhaust?? Now that I think about it maybe I gave the dealership some dollars I shouldn't have given them. When I bought the QC I paid full price.

What's the question?
Could you have sold the exhaust? Not for much.
Paying full price for the QC? Some of us paid a mark up too. It's all timing and a good dealership.

I finally tossed my giant stock muffler in the dumpster. Stored it for nearly three years!!!!! Worthless. You saved yourself some time and hassle. I still have the chome tips piece................its stuffed onto of a big shelf in the garage. Need a ladder to get to it and I dont own one!!! Junk.......dont collect it.

I was like Patrick and saving all of my OEM parts. After I filled up the garage I started to sell and give parts away. I still have a few but most are gone.

By the time these trucks are actually worth the sticker price or more again....there wont be fuel to put in it

That's an exactly how someone described a Hemi Cuda during the gas crisis in the mid 70s. Without a crystal ball there is no way to know exactly which cars or trucks will be collectable in years to come. However, these trucks meet a lot of the criteria.

I've spent a lot of time looking for stock pieces on collectible cars that I've rebuilt through the years. I try to always keep the stock parts when possible. But, that's just me.

I actually ended up needing my stock exhaust for a few weeks again when I tossed the STS turbo.
