Some of these rankings may surprise some of you.


The Harris Poll was conducted online among a sample of 2,634 U.S. adults (aged 18 and over) between January 12 and 19, 2009. When The Harris Poll asked a crosssection of adult Americans to say whom they admire enough to call their heroes.

It would be interesting to hear some of the members responses to this question.

My first response wouldn't be a single person but the men and women who rushed into the twin towers on 911 to rescue others.

They are Heroes.

The definition of "hero" has lost much of it's meaning these days.:(
