Hey guys, so I was doing some reading about buying a tool chest/box combo
and it turns out most of the tool boxes sold in the US aren't made in the US
(suprise suprise ;^)). I'd like to stick to buying American made goods because
of the quality as well as supporting companies that decided to stay here and not
go over-seas.
Here's the problem. I have about a grand to spend on a new tool chest/box
combo but seeing as craftsman is apparently made in china and most of waterloo
is made in Mexico and Canada this leaves me with the big three (snap-on, matco,
and mac tool) as well as Kennedy and Montezuma? Can anyone recommend
a tool box company in the US besides the ones I've listed? I would go the
snap-on route but even the used boxes on craigslist run over 2k... :dontknow:
Not to mention I really don't need something of that caliber yet...
Regards,
Andrew
