Well…. The 24s had to go. Besides riding like a hard tail concrete truck, they were eating up the inner fender liners. Dropped down to a 20” wheel. 8” wide on front, 10” wide on rear. Had to use 1/4” spacers on the front to clear calipers. Neither the front nor the rear stick out past the wheel wells. No more rubbing up front at full lock. The 24s would catch the brake cooling ducts, almost tore the passenger side one off. Went with 305/50 rear and 255/50 on the front. Toyo proxes iii xl, only rated for 140mph, but I don’t think the truck will see that on public streets

Looks good! No sense having them to big and causing issues.

I never saw that. You’re right. On a side note, the house I took these pictures at was my wife’s uncles place he passed way almost three ago. We have been updating it the past 9 months after a bad renter was in it last and we will be moving in, in a few weeks.

Thanks. The steering seems more crisp/responsive. The 24s were roughly a 32” diameter I kept that on the back, the front I dropped it to 30” diameter I don’t think I needed to go so extreme but I was after the old school muscle car stance. Sitting in a level parking lot the rear sits a little higher (fender gap) I got another set of 1 inch blocks to drop the rear down another inch. Had to lift the front 1.5 inches or the bumper would be on the ground haha. I would love to get the entire truck a little lower, but getting out of the driveway at the new house without plowing gravel with the splitter will be…. A challenge. Unless I back out and back in. I think if memory serves correct the factory tire was around a 31 inch diameter. I do know these toyos are allot stickier than the 24s (lionheart.) the tread width on the 24s was about 10 inches wide, the toyos is 12 inches wide so I know that will increase traction as well.
