Now I am angry. They have to change the main computer. I dont know if it's a glitch in the computer or the whole damn thing is just shot. Now, the best part is, there aren't any computers available. So now I have a truck that won't start and have no clue when I am going to get it back.

Be looking for me in the F word group therapy session thread......

Thanks for the offer, it is much appreciated. I love my diesel but I am sick of driving it. I think I am going to go home and beat up my wife's Hyundai.

Do some doughnuts in it, it'll make you feel better...kinda like wetting your pants in the dark, you feel better, but no one notices...;)

Just tell them to put a Mopar performance pcm in it, they're readily available. :D btw, I used to work for PHI (petroleum helicopters) down in Venice, La. and pass through Houma every other week back in the 90's.
 
Sorry about that. Good luck! I would try take VinViper's advice by try put a mopar pcm and see if they work. Just have them buy one for you. :D

Venice is still pretty much shut down since the storm. I hated leaving out of there, that was a very long boring drive. Last few years I have mostly been working out of Fourchon flying Air Logisitcs.

I am sure they are getting tired of hearing from me. They just might give me one to shut me up:idea:
 
I have a stock pcm for a 04 R/C i can ship you if they can't get you running. I use it for dealer visits. Ship it back when your good to go.Let me know.

Yeah, i just ordered a stage II from Mopar connection :rock: hope to get
it soon and really find out how much of a Diffrence it makes in an RC... :D

I am still waiting for an answer on arrival time. They were "supposed" to call me back yesterday and let me know. They are going to look into possibly getting me the Mopar PCM, "crosses fingers"!!! I don't know if that's going to fly or not but we will see. Hopefully today will answer a bunch of questions.

BUTTTTTTTTT, there is yet another issue that came up. I have been having this squeaking belt issue. About 2 months ago they changed my serpentine belt because it was shredding. Since they changed that, I have had this terrible squeak upon starting until it warmed up. Well, while they were working on that they discovered the crank pulling was on but only hand tight. When they caught that, they called me to ask me if I had ever wrecked this truck. This is where it gets interesting. I just bought this truck brand new at Christmas, it was a left over on a small lot in the middle of no where. I have hardly driven it much less wrecked it. They tell me, looking underneath the truck, it would appear there might have been a small front end collision. They are not certain but some of the suspension has been moved from it's original location upon leaving the assembly line. He said there were a few other things that led him to believe it was possibly wrecked.

I lost my cool with that one. Not at them, they weren't the dealer I bought it from. I did call the dealer I bought it from. They deny any such thing. I don't know. I have a paint and body guy coming in to look at it and see what he thinks. As of right now I am just lost...........................If I can get out of the office early enough and get through this crappy New Orleans traffic I want to go see for my self what they are looking at.

a lot of us with 04s' had loose harmonic balancers (lower pulley) some actually came off, mine was hand tight also. do a search, print it out and take it with you, can't remember..i think there was a TSB (technical service bulletin about this problem)
