:burnout: Well what I thought was spider gears turned out to be a broken axle. I don't remember anyone having trouble with this before. My guy called me today and said the right axle was wrung in half. Guess that is part of the 1.54 60' time.:burnout:
Should have a cure for this on the way.....[/QUO
The Old saying goes "You ain't a Man until you break an Axle"
I remember the first time I broke an axle. It was a Henry's Racing axle.
1987 in my 1965 GTO at L.A.C.R. I lauched at 6000rpm and hit the Stage 2 Nitrous with 10 Slicks. Loud Bang and felt it in the shifter. I thought at the time I scattered my Muncie four speed.
Axle twisted in two just pass the slines.
Now it's a axle in retirement, but a damn good Door Stop.
