Quake Rattles Hawaii

POSTED: 1:14 pm PST November 23, 2006

HONOLULU -- A Thanksgiving Day earthquake rattled parts of Hawaii Thursday.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the quake hit off the coast of the Big Island. It was also felt in Maui and Oahu. Some power outages are being reported, but there's no word on other damages or any injuries. The warning center said no tsunami is expected.

The quake had a magnitude of 4.5, though some reports put it as high as 5.0.

Two bigger quakes hit Hawaii last month, causing power outages, bridge collapses, landslides and road closures.

We haulies send our prayers and best regards to all Hawaiians effected by this quake.....

God bless you all...........

The reports I have read all say very minor damage and no injurys.:)

We talked to Ashley my daughter last night. She said they didn't even feel the quake. They were swimming at the beach.

Has anyone heard from Patrick (Maui/SRT10)? I'm going to call him today and check on him. I pray that he and everyone else was not injured during the quake. :dontknow: Looks like I have to remind Patrick not to rev his truck up so high because it seems that Magnaflow cat back violently shook the ground.

Funny Anthony.....
Glad to hear from you Patrick, and that Sleeper got a hold of family.

Glad it was a minor quake with no injuries to anyone.

Man were glad to hear from you!! Two of our dearest friends are in Maui right now getting married. Bet they won't forget this one!!!LOL:burnout:
