I was in town earlier today watching to see if anyone new was around when a Silver 2004 L pulled up beside me. We sat and talked awhile. He said his truck was running 17 pounds boost with a tune from SC, and a cold air intake. After a while he asked if I would be interested in racing, I said sure so we headed to the local Airport where I work. We heated our tires alittle and lined up. We got flagged by a friend and Off we went. I pulled him by about 1 1/2 cars out of the hole and held it the whole way. We shut down at 120. We stopped and talked a few minutes and he said his only made 13 pounds boost that time for some reason. He said he wanted to try again when he got it fixed. I said sure, so I guess we'll just wait and see if he comes back. I could tell he was very surprised that I beat him. I know there are L's out their alot faster than my truck, but they just aren't here in my home town, YET!!!!!!!!

good kill bro.just wonder if the 13 pound boost this time was just a way of saving himself some embaresment.

Yea the Airport is petty safe. It's real wide and you have to use a gate pass to get in, so no cops and plenty of room. I always try to go their.

Nice Kill!!! The problem that guy had is all he reads on the L boards is how we are all 14 sec trucks. You surprised the shit out of him.
 
I had the same thing happen last night. A blue Lightning wanted to play so he honked three times from about 40 and I pulled a half a truck on him. He said he was suprised I beat him since he had a few mods himself. He had beaten a stock Ram SRT-10 a couple of weeks ago and asked what I had done. I told him, just an K&N and exhaust. :)

thats my buddy spyder, i race him allthe time, infact just scroll down in the racing part and you will see me racing him and my wife in the vette and spyder.

That was me you raced in destin with the blue L. I saw you at the light and waited for you to come out, not sure if you were at Olive garden too because I saw one parked there when i went in to eat.

Anyway, your truck pulls hard and you should definately come out and play with us next time we go and race at area 51. Our first race I was just shocked at how you just shot off lol, I told my girl that he's not stock lol. Then our other race in destin you gave me the hit and still pulled a good half car and walking away lol. I'm not sure if you heard me or not about my mods but i'm slightly modded and make 385/470, you might have made up my mind about getting a 4lb lower :) I would love to race you from a dig :)

That's crazy...I was at the OG. LOL I was kinda nervous about runnin on that road just because it's such a washboard but I figured, what the hell. I definately would come out to 51. The guys in P'cola want me to keep coming out there but I'm not down for driving an hour and a half and burning all that gas just to stand around talkin the same shit every friday night. I'm not too sure their spot wont get raided sometime soon either considering they've been using it for a few years every friday night.

Not sure if you saw my post but I took the truck to John at XXX and it made 471rwhp and 523rwtq yesterday. There's a lean down low then it has a lean spot up high so I'm considering re-tuning options to get those smoothed out. My A/F curve looks like a roller coaster.

Fella was alive amazingly...leg was like a fishook....that was the second tree he hit.... that is a BMW...so not a cheap piece of machinery
