Another Newbie from FLA

Here's your test!...Convince me selling my project for the past two years is the right decision...

Current ride is 2004 Silverado SS, actually I love this truck, then it happened...
At a stop light, up pulls a sweet SRT10, black on black, don't get me wrong my truck is tough, but I realized that it wasn't he baddest whip on the road, or specifically that stop light at that moment. Long story short, the guy in the Viper Truck didn't even try me. He'd have surely smoked the doors off of my SS, my whimpy 440 hp can't hang with the 500...

So here I am, researching my new passion, actually I found one, 2005, 2500mi, great price. Next weekend it's mine!:rock:

So anyone interested in a very "quick" beautiful SS? It's for sale. :dontknow:

BTW, can someone give me the link for "boomers". I'm gonna need some parts, volant cold air, and new shifter.
 
Welcome to the house, and good luck on the purchase, we have a member here blown ss i think is his sig, has a ss also , you might contact him ,he may know of someone looking for one.

Reg cab, I want the 6 spd, tired of the auto in the SS.

Another sweet truck for sure. Hey how do I get rid of the "Got a hemi" from under my user name??? That's got to go, I haven't had a mullet for years! "Business in the front, party in the back"...
 
It was me or Marc T in the lane next to you...if it had black wheels then it was Marc...if the wheels were OEM then it was me...and we both would have smoked your ass! But you are now on the right side...Marc is still in the area (atlantic beach) I have departed...

The Hemi line will go away after you post more than 10 times.

And as far as convincing goes, all I can say is: you won't be disappointed!! Wait til you are the one in the SRT at the stop light! Sometimes it's hard to keep from just grinning ear-to-ear, and most times, I don't bother trying!!

I went to Ga this weekend, and in my travels I got more thumbs-ups and OMG stares than I have in a while! It was great, and just reminded me why I have wanted one of these beasts for so long!!

Be sure to post some pics of the new ride, and one of your grin, 'cause I know after the first WOT take-off, you'll have one!!

Nice...Well it was at the intersection of Kernan and Atlantic, Saturday a week ago, yup, that's when my whole idea of how cool my SS is changed completely, and immediately began the search. Lucky thing is I was just about to order a $4k turbo kit. Now that would have sucked for sure...

BTW, if it was you, you owe me about 40k! For the new truck.

Can't wait...

If there was alot of traffic i wouldn't have even thought about running, otherwise, right place, right time I would have bit!!:D

Have you looked on the other site?? There is a guy named SRTERIC looking to trade his 10 for a GM product, If I was you I would be all over that!!

Welcome!!! You will lose "'Got a hemi" after you post count goes over some magic number, which I think is 10.
