Hello all,

I'm another newbie to VTCOA. Cool Beans!

I traded a 2005 Ram 1500 Laramie AWD with the hemi for this 2006 QC SRT 10 and I love it! It makes my hemi feel like a sled.

I have some questions but I'll put them in another post.

Btw, anyone going to be at the SRT experience at VIR on Friday the 13th?

I can see right now this truck is gonna make me spend some money. I want to put the Borla exhaust on, but I'm not too fond of the oval tip. I like the look of the stock tips.

And I am considering a moderate drop, a 1/2 maybe. What are the disadvantages? Is the ride rougher? Does it want to hop up and down? I know it looks good.

And sgt bo, Madison, NC is North Central North Carolina, about 10 miles South of Virginia.

Borla has had mixed reviews and the Magnaflow is the overall favorite...there are plenty of threads covering exhaust options

I have the X-Metal 1"x2" drop kit and do not feel that the overall ride is any rougher than stock. It does improve handling though I would be more than happy to let you take my truck for a spin or a ride around the block and let you decide for yourself.

I had the borla on mine prior to STS and loved it. I think Borla is now Mopar.
