My little buddy, Tigger, is dying. :( He is 15 years old and we have been having to feed him by saringe for about a week now. .... The vet that my Mom (he lives at Mom and Dad's house) has been taking him too hasn't been able to figure out what's going on. I took him to another vet today that did all kinds of tests and x-rays. The doc was very good and showed me everything as it came in... It looks like Tigger has a tumor in his left lung. But, they are going to do more tests and such tomorrow. ...... Poor fella. :( He's been such a good friend.

If you guys could shoot some prayers his way tonight, maybe it could help. Maybe, we could get a miracle. :dontknow:  I take him back in tomorrow at 10:30...... Hopfully, it might be "good" news (the doc couldn't tell, it could be pneumonia).

I'm saying a prayer for TIGGER too.. he's about the same age as my Siamese (Mr. Boo) and I don't even want to think about him getting sick.

Best wishes.. I hope everything turns out A.O.K. so you can enjoy many more evenings with the kitty jumping in the bed, shedding all over the place, biting your nose, licking your plates, shredding your expensive furniture and speaker equipment, yacking on the carpet, etc. Damn.. but it is SO worth it!!

The link below should make you smile. It's MY CAT exactly... gotta love 'em.

Sorry about your bud Jakey, Tiger will be getting our Prayers.

That's horrible. I've got two cats and they're pretty much like kids to me. Be paitent and you might wanna get a second opinion! One of my cats was "diagnosed" with FIP, which is fatal. He got really sick and the vet said I might as well put him down because he wasn't going to make it. I refused and didn't give up hope.

That was 3 years ago. Turns out that yes, he is a carrier of FIP but that's it. When he got sick, he'd just caught a kitty germ and nothing more. If I would've taken the advice of that asshole vet, I would've lost him. So don't give up hope!

You're exactly right... The other vet (the first one) said to put him down, that he had Feline Leukemea. The tests today show (from the new vet) that he has the FeLV virus, but he is just a carrier (all cats are). We finally found a good vet, that WANTS to figure out the root issue.... I just hope that it's not "too little, too late". :(

Hey Tigger, my name is Buster, and damned if you don't look like my long lost twin brother. :)

You be sure to be tough and hang in there. Hate to see you leave now that I just found you.
