Antique service station pix...

This is a project my father has been working at for about a year. He bought the tire business from the orignal owner who estbalished it in 1958. Needless to say he was ready to retire. So my dad decided to renovate the old store front into the orignal service station format. The unique part about it is he sold his house and renovated the inside of the gas station to live in. It has a living room, kitchen, bath, two bedrooms. Just thought I would share and if you ever come to Bonifay, stop by and BS for a minute!

I will. It is almost finished. There is brick about a third of the way up the interior walls and vertical cedar wood slats from there to the ceilling. And the ceiling is tin. Soon as we get it cleaned up I'll shoot some pix.

They had a really neat service station "museum" close to where I lived in MI. It's neat to see all the old service trucks and pumps.
