The guy does great work on Fords and would like to develop a CAI that will show some big gains for the Viper motor.. If anybody lives out by VA Beach area ..drop him a e-mail---->http://www.jlttruecoldair.com/
Hope i am not stepping on any toes with this post:dontknow:
Cheers J.T.

Yeah, he's been making good stuff for the Mustang crowd for awhile. Just started doing L's recently, and so far it's been quality stuff. If you guys could get something goin with em, you probably wouldn't regret it.

I don't think anyone is going to come up with a CAI that will make a whole lot of more power than the stock set up with an aftermarket drop in!!

Even the Volant has not shown much of an improvement on the Dyno! Nor the K&N full system nor the Mopar system. JMO!!

Now if he comes up with something that looks better, I am sure he will sell some!!

The more folks we can get making parts for us the better.
I don't know about a cold air intake but he may see the truck and come up with something else also.
Anyone that wants to make parts for a limited production vehicle is probably an asset.
He may just reinvent the wheel.

Hey all :)
As many have said we build custom induction systems for many performance cars and trucks, like the Cobras, GT's, F-150, Lightnings and more. Most recently posted the highest HP&TQ in a 5.0 mag. test on the 05-up GT.:D

We did have a local SRT-10 in for a mock up, but when we were ready for another test fit, he was no where to be found.
I have a few local trucks here, but need one for about a day and then again for a full dyno test session. We pay for all testing and give the kit to the customer for his/her trouble.

I have a great idea for this kit, something different then the norm that's out now. So if any of you are in the VA Beach area and can give up the truck for a day here and there, I'll make it worth it.
Hey, we have a dyno directly across the street, so if the first design doesn't make good power, we'll change it up and test some more.

Feel free to contact me if this is a option for you.

Cool!! Look forward to seiing what you come up with!! I think heat, and these motors create a shitload of that, is the main obstacle! I believe thats why the stock set-up has done so well. I thought the volant would produce better results since it is an enclosed system also but it hasn't shown to be.

How bout something that hooks up to the front brake/rotor cooling tube, would pull cool air and also maybe a little forced induction at speed?? Just a thought!!

Keep us informed and thanks for putting in your time!!

I am awaiting a call from them this afternoon. I have no problem dropping off my truck for a while to see what they can come up with. Anytime there are more options out there, it's better for all involved.

I look forward to talking with you Jay...

That sounds like a great deal Stretch. I wish I lived near by.

Bill.

I talked with Jay today from JLT. Very nice guy and into all kinds of cars, not just the Ford types...:D He is really excited about getting a chance to work some of his magic on one of our trucks. His idea sounds really good, I am anxous to see it. Will try and drop off my truck this weekend and pick it up the following weekend. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Thank's for being the Mule...even if you never pull a plow.:D

Hope to see it progress.

I think he will be dropping the truck off this weekend.
We will be mocking up the kit next week and doing some dyno testing as well.
I'll be sure to keep you all in the know as the week of progress goes on.

Thanks
Jay
