I was doing some research on some brackets for a center bearing and came across a parts list for everything under the sun. Got some questions that only a parts manager/mechanic for Dodge can probably answer. So if anyone like that is on here and would like to take a look, it would be appreciated.

The parts list I am describing can be found by typing the following into a Google search:
vin plate decoding 2005dr

My question is this. Can the one piece driveshaft be put on a 2005/2006 QC instead of the 2 piece with the carrier bearing? From the looks of the way it is listed it appears it could. Here are the part numbers, these can be found in the above document starting on page 260. The excerpts below are prices from MoparParts America. Neither lists the SRT10 specifically. In the actual parts diagram, from the Google search, the first shaft listed for the one piece denotes the 8.3L engine (EWC) and the reg cab, 61. For the next two entries below it the engine code is blank but the QC Short Box is listed, 41. Then the next two entries have different engine codes listed. That is why I am asking if the one piece will work and is an acceptable installation by Dodge since it listed in this manner.
