I worked out at home n my work gym when i had that certain boring job. N lets just say when i started going to a real gym it was one of the best things ive ever done. Met a whole new group of friends. It became a big part of my life. Join a gym. Join a golds or a hole in the wall body building gym.

What about those Bow Flex machines? Are they any good?
Again, if you are a very mild hobbiest, who doesn't require anymore than the Bowflex offers, it might be a good fit for you.

As much as I love the gym, Tyler's situation seems to make doing so highly impractical. I'm NOT a Golds fan either. And sadly, hole in the wall bodybuilding gyms are getting hard to find. Mine closed last fall :(

Wow Sammy, I had no idea you were into bodybuilding!

I have the opposite problem you do. My elbows are too damages to do any direct arm work. My legs grow well (30"), but my arms are seriously lacking (17"). You've progressed much further than I have though, (6'4", 240lbs).

Don't waste time buying machines. Get some kettlebells, a barbell, and a rack. You can do with this than with machines while getting much better results. Plus, you won't spend nearly as much and won't need a ton of space. Check out roguefitness.com for some ideas.

Free weights brotha, only way to go. Cables and bs are good for burning out or isolating after you've been throwing some real weight around. A full set of dumbbells, an adjustable flat bench, a dip and pullup bar and you can do some damage!
