I saw one of these trucks at the cema car show last summer at the chrysler musium. the hood wasn"t open, and i noticed the colum shifter. thought it was a clone or somthing.
I did notice there not being any side bars or bracing to the main hoop itself? Was there a crossbar on the hoop? That is where you would attach the harnesses to...
I am gonna find out from my buddy bout this safe in-cab bar, and if my ideas will be sufficient for extra measure of safety....
The buttons are for flashing LED's mounted on the truck....it was a "pace car replica" so it needed flashing lights. Interesting on the Guinness truck not having oil temp pod on the pillar. Apparently, the regular cabs initially were not going to get them but during testing with the quad cabs it became apparent that a trans temp gauge was needed. Not to leave us regular cabs out Dodge added the pod to the regular cabs. I guess thats one thing we can thank our 4 door brothers for! The Guinness truck was a very early production thus no pod.
