As the titles reads, are any of you folks land surveyors? My boss has asked me to redraw a plat for a friend that was drawn incorrectly. He says it doesn't have to be perfect/precise, but I don't see how I am supposed to recreate this plat (correctly) seeing as how I don't have every measurement in front of me.

(FYI, I can read/understand a survey - sortof. But this shit isn't my forte!:D)

Jimi this is confusing. First what type of buisness are you in? Whats wrong with what the LS did? How can you fix it without going out and remeasuring property with transit?

I'm a Licensed Land surveyor, but I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you have an old survey? Are you saying the survey itself is not the same size (bearings and distances) as the owner thinks it was? Is there a DEED you can get to compare to the survey? Be a little more specific. I've been in this business 25 years, and will do my best to help you.
