I've been out of the sledding game for a couple years but plan on buying one this week. I looked at the 2014 RMK Pro 800 155" and the Summit 800 on Saturday. Out of those two the RMK kicks the Summits ass in build quality.

Overtime I want something I can mod the shit out of, turbo for sure, but still have some kind of reliability with it.

Anyone have any input?

I was a die hard sledder, once upon a time. And I have also been thinking I might want to get back into it this winter. Have you looked at the Arctic Cat that comes turbo'd? I realize it's a 4-stroke, but it seems like it would be way easier to turn up the boost on a factory setup, then have to add it after the fact.

Where's RTTTTed when you need him

Exactly! Get a CAT Tyler, the 1100 turbo goes unreal!! They have upgrade kits for over 240HP I believe here at Echo cycle, talk to Rick.

Echo also has supercharger kits for the 2strokes too with full waranty!! The M8 HCR (Hill Climb Racer-I think thats what its called ,LOL)is the ultimate 800 machine!!

Joe, do you have any idea what the weight is on Arctic Cat's 4stroke? I rode Turbo'd RX1's back in the day, and even with 250 HP they were tanks, fast tanks, but still tanks.

I was always a Polaris guy when I was into sleds but I like the bombardier line up now. Although I have not compared the two to have and valid input. But I do have some bombardier products now and they definitely take care of you if you run into problems.

The weight seems to be top secret!! :D:dontknow: havent seeem to have found it yet, must be scarey!!LOL

I never considered a Cat, I know most that have them are hardcore into them, but most people are generally very opinionated as to whatever they own.

I road a turbocharged Yamaha Apex a few years ago, it was savage.

If you liked your turbo Apex (I didn't, they were too heavy for my style of riding) then get the Turbo Mountain Cat and I bet you'll be thrilled. I'm not a brand loyalist, so my biased toward you getting an Arctic Cat doesn't have anything to do with that. Lol
