We need to know where are the good deals and what you guys recomend.

Lindsay and I are getting married April 26th!:p

So where do you guys recomend going for the honeymoon? She wants to go somewhere in the caribean. (Bahamas preferably)

We are on a budget here and would like to spend no more than $1500 for all inclusive. Am i out of line here? Is that enough? (i hope so:eek: )

SRT-IZ Where do you want to go??? I have time share points I am won't be using this year. I am sure I could use some for you and maybe get you a good deal.

Just in case: I am in a lifetime club (I paid upfront) for a timeshare point system. I can go just about anywhere I want on the planet and all I pay for is the airfair to that locale.

If you are interested SRT-IZ PM Me asap so I can see if I can help.

I don't recommend the Bahamas. The pictures look great but what you don't realize is right outside the picture are fallen down buildings and such. It reminded me a bit of Mexico in that it is a 3rd world, under-developed country. Jamaica is much nicer I hear. You can probably get a deal on a cruise for close to your budget. Be aware that the alcohol is not cheap and not included with a cruise so that can kill your budget. My wife and I spent about $1,500 on alcohol alone when we went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon and that was 18 years ago.

I just booked to go to the Mayan Riviera $1445 flight, hotel that is 4 star all inclusive and I am flying from Calgary and I am In Canadian dollars so I would say you can go 5 star all in Mexico just shop around it is way cheaper this year than the last few years

Yeah, I would suggest Mexico, especially since you are on the west side. Lots of really nice places there that can give the Carib a run for the money. But if I was going to the Carribean I would be headed to Curacao.

Cura...what? Where is that?

I've been to both Cancun & Puerto Vallarta. In Cancun we stayed at Moon Palace (all Inclusive) but I understand that Sun Palace is adults only. In Puerto Vallarta we stayed at Vallarta Palace. Check out the Palace Resort website for more info. I've got nothing bad to say about either place we stayed. Congratulations and I hope you have a great trip.
