anybody know about these

im meaning as far as collectors car, etc. I know its still a ford, but a very nice ford at that. A nice car is still a nice car.

I would say the KR will be produced in low #s and have some collectibility in the future.......only problem is worrying about the dealer breaking it off in you as he thrusts....:argh:

i will be able to get it for sticker.

I know I'd love to have one!! Only prob is about $50-100k to much for me unless I got rid of all other toys including the 10 and used the KR as the DD and my only vehicle. Not gonna happen I guess!!

One more thing you might want to check is the hit you are going to

take with insurance and yearly ad valoram tax.

Cool car, but thats quite a price tag for fun and still be a ford. As far as investment...... Thats a long time to wait for it to pay off and what fun is having that car and not drivng it?

For that same money you can buy a 96GTS with about 1000 miles on it and it will be worth 3-4X that 500KR...plus its still faster and has better mods.

The problem is not that its a Ford..... It's not the wheels look cheezie to me. It's the fact that the price is so overinflated. The value of this thing will only increase significantly in the eyes of some Barrett-Jackson level billionaire who also pays $5000 (at a Vegas casino) for the priviledge of telling his friends that he smoked a genuine 1940s, pre-embargo Cuban cigar.

The levels of ignorance AND stoopidity in the market of gratuitously expendable dollars never ceases to amaze me..... This is a damn Mustang for crying out loud.... And while I'm not anti Ford by any means, I have seen a LOT of do-it-yourselfers build MUCH badder Mustangs themselves for alot less money.....

That goes for the money you pay for Roush or Saleen Mustangs, too.

I personally like the Shelby GT 500s. The KR has differnt gears and a few other things and a different tune. They are cool......
They run well and respond to bolt on's just phenonemly well.

Cheap HP compared to a SRT.

I am not talking about 25 yrs from now, I mean the crazy money some of the

$5,000.00 cigar boys gave for some of the Cobra R's, and FORD GT's, just

after they missed getting their name on the waiting list.:D
