General Grabber UHP 305/40R22 114V

They are V rated, stock size. And seem to rate pretty high for traction, comfort, noise and wear.

And at $141 each, I am trying to find a reason not to buy them. (That's $622.50 with road hazard for 4 tires. Shipping is $85)

Anybody?

Sorry!:D:D:D

Anyway, BigBlackQC showed me this site: www.tires-easy.com and they have them at $155.65 ea. (Road Hazard Included! and reasonable shipping!)

Thanks Joe!

I got em. Have yet to run it hard out of the hole, but nailed it from a 25 roll, the 2nd gear shift was a good bark but no breaking loose to the point of fish tailing.

160 out the door, with chrome valve stems :)

I did some horse trading locally and got a set (mounted, road force balanced and alignment) for $300 bucks. If you get a set of tires from a website like that, you still have to go to your local tire guy to have them mounted. OK, so I stated the obvious. You might be able to get a pretty good deal locally. I think I was quoted $165 a couple months back. They may have come down a few bucks. Even if you get the road hazard from the website seller, you have to go through the trouble of shipping it back and forth etc., etc., Check locally for all that and see how close you come to the website amount + M&B etc., etc..

Forgot to mention, the ride quality from the Pirelli's (mine only had 11K one them) to the Generals, well lets just say it is like going from 60 rubber to 90s radials.
