anybody with a mopar tonneau cover i need a pic....

of what this latch is supposed to attach to to lock it down, i plan on making one because i bought this cover used and it didn't have one with it....i just want an idea of what an original looks like unless i can order one...thanksss

Its just a simple small clip that bolts to the tailgate, should be able to get one at any shop that sells caps and covers.

You have to drill holes to mount it.

Sorry for a bumping of an old thread. I was going thru Google Searches and seen that you was in the same issues that we are in. I got an used tonneau cover for a Dodge Dakota. I know it is not a Ram, but it has the same lock as yours. I can't find anywhere to get a replacement piece for the tailgate or a good photo of the piece. Can you get me a photo of the piece that you made since I have to make one too?

He has a 06 it has the srt cover just like my cover.
