Bought (upgraded to) mine after reading this thread, and checking one out in person. Figured I'd use the thing for a bit before posting up.

It's extremely intuitive and stable. The part that makes it such a gas is all the damned apps that are available, particularly the free ones!
Must have an unlimited data plan if you plan on getting one, though. You'll find so many things to do with it that you'd easily get in trouble if you have a limited plan. Apps like Pandora Radio creates a pretty good data stream, and you'll be downloading lots of stuff to run on it.
Set up a Google account, and entered all of my contacts with my laptop. Everything is stored on line, so if the device is lost, damaged, etc., it will restore all of it automatically when it's replaced. Also allowed it to link to my Facebook account, and it added all of my friends to my contacts (including putting their Facebook pix along side their names).
Add Weatherbug, and get near-real time radar and satellite images.
Add a barcode scanner and a compare program, and get info on products just by scanning the product barcodes in the store, plus find out where it's least expensive.
Add Where, and it will tell you weather, movies, gas prices, etc., wherever you go.
Add a ringtone app, and create/edit ringtones from any sounds or music tracks on your phone.
Getting an idea what you can do with this thing? Hell, someone even made a metal detector app!?!
Paid $200.00 to upgrade the phone, and have paid exactly $0.00 for the applications.
The only down side I've found is the time spent playing with all of the stuff, and looking for new apps. Other than that, this has been one of the sweetest tech toys I've purchased since my PS3. Speaking of which, I downloaded an app that can read the media files stored on my PS3 and play them on the phone.:congrats:
