Now when I start the truck i get the message LAMP OUT. I looked in the codes section dont see it? I checked all my lights around the truck, everything seems to be fine inless i missed one?

Anyone got any ideals ?

Allso I found out the hard way this weekend, dont leave my keys in the truck. I went to a friends house ran inside real quick left the truck running, Came back out about 5 min later or little more and the doors locked. Luckly i had the driver side window cracked enough to get a clothes hanger down to unlock the door.

I thought well must just been a mistake. So when i got back to my house i pulled the truck up to give her a bath. This time with keys in hand. I decided to leave both doors unlocked. About 5-10 min later both doors locked.

Im asumming the alarm system is kicking in.. Which makes since, but damn im glad i realize this now and not somewhere on the road lol.

Had this problem a couple weeks ago. It was the right stop light. Replaced the bulb and it still didn't work. Took it to the dealer for an oil change and they work on it for an hour and a half and could not find it. Had to take it back in when they had more time to work on it.

Turned out to be a bent over pin on one of the connectors. How the hell that happened I will never know. I had never taken an connectors apart.

Good luck.

I have that going on right now. I already know that one of my highbeams are out. It's not the bulb, it's some pesky resistor issue since I changed out the headlights. All I have to do is unplug the non-working bulb and re-connect it.... which reminds me, my inspection is now due so I have to get on it today. An HID conversion is in my near future. That ought to fix it for good.

Then you get it everytime! lol I'm sure Boomer's close to a fix.:D

I got the 'Lamp Out' light when I had my HID's, which is one of the reason's they are no longer in my truck.

Slow91 installs them in his shop in Baytown, TX. He has a sweet headlight/foglamp conversion done on his
with no such problems. (See pic below) His set up runs about $900.00 installed. I saw where he mounted his
ballasts and it all looks clean. He's ready to do mine as well.

:) :D I type like that all day - and it is hard to stop ;)

Oh, and I never have had a lamp out indicator yet ...

Its strange, it comes and goes, last few days hasnt been comming on? humm oh well :dontknow:

Brake light bulbs - it comes on due to vibrations - you can pull bulb out and check connector for looseness - the bulb does not lock in place. - I thought about putting some silicon glue to hold it. Dealer will not filnd it. only when it stays off - It is pesky because of bell dinging off and on.

I have Boomers HIDs (fogs and headlamps) without H/Bs (as the H13 lamp does not support H/B) I dont get a Lamp Out.....
