Anyone Ever Work For ADT

I applied for a technician spot today for ADT. Basically I will go out and install alarm systems in homes as well as sell them additional products. I will not be selling the alarm systems themselves, I will be dispatched to a home that has already paid to have one installed.

Anyone done this before? Got any thoughts or USEFUL info???

I did it for about a year and half for a private company that specialized in homes that i would never be able to afford unless i won two state lotto's .
Just care for everyone's house better than they would. Its a hell of a lot easier than doing cars:rock: Best part about a service job like this is all of single or unhappy married women

I got out of car audio about 9 years ago. I started working in home audio video, then stepped up to working on yachts, now I program automation systems.
Homes are much easier than cars. You will learn tips and tricks to make it easier. Also like car audio, the right tools make it easier.

Unfortunately not. They told me they chose another but if he doesn't work out then I am next. Sounded like condolence words

look into home A/V or low voltage wiring companies. Also, have you thought about maybe a Rep for a manufacture of car audio? :dontknow:

A rep would be awesome but I really love to install. My problem is that I have to move to Cali, Texas, or Florida to get a market for car audio (at least the big time) I just don't have the balls to pack my crap and move my whole family.

Got any ideas where I would look for car audio rep jobs???

The industry has died off down here ALOT. The shop I worked at finally closed their doors. They were there for almost 20 years. Not bad for a car audio shop.

Sorry to hear you did not get it. Mabey the other guy wont show up for his first day, fingers crossed. As for mine from what was said sounds like there is three or four other canadates for the job I am looking at. So as long as i am not the third runner up i guess it will be ok.
