Anyone fill in/relocate their antenna?

[SRT-11]

I ask for two reasons, one is because it's ugly, and two is that I really want to put my new gen3 viper emblems up on the top of the fenders a la' Ferrari. If I do relocate it, where should I put it? I had an antenna replacement kit that went at the top of the windshield (inside the glass) before on one of my cars and my reception really suffered.

also any idea what filling a hole like that would cost? it's only about an inch to an inch and a half in diameter...

Get ahold of Patrick and get a 9" shorty antenna, can't see it from drivers seat!!! Matches color of truck.

Stylin' has one that goes across the dash. Supposedly no reception difference. It' the one I'm going to use when I shave mine. You can hide it under the Defrost vent panel, it pops up with a puddy knife.

seriously? it'd be pretty easy to weld or glue a little disc under the spot, then filling it with body filler, then sanding it down to be even with the panel, then painting & blending it in?

Dude, it's much easier than you think. It can be done flush with very little fooler. Yours is easy, it's black...mines red, now thats a bitch to match.
