Just checking again this year to see if anyone's going to the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, WV this year.
The dates are: Sept. 15th & 16th, 2007
Rachel and I will be taking the truck down early Sat. morning and spending the day there. It's a sleepy little WV town, so don't expect a huge casino or a bunch of strip clubs. I think there are 2 traffic lights in the whole town. LOL
But....it's still cool. There are a bunch of guest speakers: everyone from acclaimed authors to renown cryptozoologists. Some of them are 'out there', but most have some compelling and fascinating information. T-shirts and other memorabilia are for sale from a dozen or so vendors.
Hey LbStone- there's also a power lifting competition!
This year they have Search Team Maps for folks to download and follow when they come to visit. The maps are a great idea and will REALLY help with exploring the area.
Email or PM me if you'd like my cell number. We can hook up for lunch or just cruise through the WV hills looking for a 9' tall guy with glowing red eyes and huge wings.
